COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL LANG ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER
Entrepreneurship is more than the process of starting a business. It is about identifying, valuing, and capturing opportunities. Between our in-class curriculum and our out-of-class events, programs, panels, guest speakers and workshops, the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center provides students with the tools and education needed to start a business, grow a business, or to simply think entrepreneurially. Our programs are meant to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in every student that interacts with Columbia Business School, and to create a community of business practitioners with a lifelong commitment to achieving social and economic progress through entrepreneurship.
HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL STARTUP STUDIO NYC
The HBS Startup Studio NYC is unlocking the Harvard Business School network in the greater NYC area. The Startup Studio will provide support for companies by cultivating relationships with alumni to provide access to education, mentorship, opportunities and investment. Leveraging the network allows companies to grow in a more efficient and effective manner, giving them a greater chance for success.
It is the first off-campus hub for Harvard Business School alumni founding, joining or investing in new ventures in NYC. The goal of the Startup Studio is to foster connections and collaborations amongst HBS alumni, to support founders, investors and alumni who have joined one of the numerous high growth startups for which New York City is becoming known. The Startup Studio will focus its efforts on developing programming designed to create a forward thinking ecosystem to foster the growth of a new generation of HBS alumni founded startups. It will serve as a workspace for select New York based HBS alumni and be the hub where the programming will take place.
